Email Printing

Prerequisites :


Note: Each Gespage server must use a unique email printing protocol.


For an email to be compatible with email printing, you must:

  1. Enable the IMAP protocol. For Gmail: https://learn.microsoft.com/fr-fr/exchange/mailbox-migration/enable-gmail-accounts-for-imap
  2.  For Gmail, enable two-step verification to have an app password (see https://support.google.com/mail/answer/185833?hl=fr)

Configure SMTP to be able to resend a return email:



Have a server license. Consult with the support team.

Procedure:


1. Add an email profile.



For Gmail:

Protocol: IMAP PUSH

Server address: imap.gmail.com

Username: email-printing

Password: the application password

Port: 993

SSL: Yes

Accept self-signed certificates: Leave blank

Interval: 10

Timeout: 60

Authentication: Basic

Maximum number of documents: 100

Print security code: No print security code.

Included in the return email: print code and link.


2. Associate the email profile with a printer.



Test.


From an email associated with an existing user on the server, send an email to email-printing with an attachment.

If all goes well, you will receive a confirmation email with a print code and a link. Debug: Email printing depends on the Gespage Mobile Service. You can view the logs in Program Files\Gespage\GespageCore\Geps\Logs\geps_mobile.log
