Web Payment Configuration

Here is the procedure to configure the WebPayment module in the Gespage UI.

This is done in two steps:

  1. The first step is to retrieve the necessary information required to configure the functionality.

  2. The second step is to configure the Gespage UI from the Admin interface.

  • Retrieving Payment Information

  • Wordline

If you do not find anything in this menu, it may indicate that no API key has been created beforehand for the application. You will therefore need to create one.

An API key as well as a secret key will then be generated.

  • PayPal

Similarly, in PayPal, log in with your personal account. Navigate to the Testing Tools menu, where you will find payment accounts.

Select the Business account, and you will be redirected to the APIs menu. There should be a “Default Application” API – select it.

You will then access the different API Credentials, including the Client ID, which is needed for the Gespage Admin configuration.

  • Configuring WebPayment on Gespage

To configure WebPayment, you must first check whether the Web Shop license is valid on the server.
If this is not the case, you will not be able to configure or access this service/feature.

After adding the license, you will need to restart the Gespage Server service so that the WebPayment menu appears in the available interfaces.

Next, go to the Web Shop menu, where you can configure the different payment methods.

First, you can enter your company information here.

In a submenu below, you will find the E-Payment gateway, where you will enter the information retrieved in step one (ID, API, Secret Key, etc.).

You can also choose the payment currency.

Finally, only one type of payment can be selected at a time, from the three available check buttons.

Before connecting to the Web-UI to check if the information has been correctly retrieved and if the payment platform is active, you must first create a payment item.

This is where you define the different payment profiles with their cost, value, VAT, etc. You can also choose whether to activate or deactivate the profile.

Here is how it appears on the user interface:
