Gespage Stratus instance
As Gespage Stratus is a cloud instance, there is no need to install the Gespage application in your local environment. Administrator access remains unchanged: a login/mdp and the url of your instance will be sent to you when you place your order. This access will enable you to connect to your Gespage Stratus instance and start configuring it. For optimum security, Gespage Stratus is a single tenant server application, meaning that your application and data are not shared with other client instances. |  |
Gespage agent
To manage printing on your local workstations, you need to deploy the Stratus agent. It can be deployed in two different ways.
- Installation of the Gespage Agent on all user workstations. This solution is recommended for environments with a low number of user workstations (limit of 50 user workstations).
- Installation of the Gespage Agent only on the company administrator workstation. This workstation will act as a gateway between the user workstations and the Gespage Stratus server. This solution is recommended for environments with many user workstations.
In both cases, the print job is not sent to the Gespage Stratus instance, so as not to overload the Internet network and to optimize document security. It remains local to the workstation hosting the print queue.
The Gespage Agent can be installed automatically using GPOs for Windows workstations.

Gespage connector
To complete the operation, it may be necessary to install the Gespage Connector on an administrator workstation. This module collects certain network flows to the Gespage Stratus instance.
The Gespage Connector is required for the modules listed below. It ensures reliable exchanges between these devices and Gespage Stratus.
