To add a card reder on a A4 MFP, please follow these steps:
- unplug USB card reader
- Change Proximity Card Reader settings
- Display External Interface Software Settings (Preparation for Quick Card Authentication Setting)
- Select "Not Set" in "Proximity Card Reader Software Settings"
- Press "OK" button
- Restart the device
(Physical reboot! Switch off device. All LED must be off. Wait 10 more seconds. Switch on again.) - wait 2 minutes
- Plug in card reader
