When a client computer is not connected on the domain, every time the PC is restarted, the connection with the print is lost. There is therefore a method of installation to avoid this.
Setting up a Gespage V7 printer and popup on windows :
Install a printer under Windows:
To add a printer by Gespage under Windows not connected to the domain, you must add an IP printer with the LPR protocol :
You have to start to activate the functionality LPR on client computers in control panel/Program and Feature/Enable or Disable Windows Features.
Then we add the printer on the protocol LPR
Name or address of server providing lpd : IP address of the Server where the Gespage service is installed.
Name of printer op pint queue on that server : Name of the printer as it appears in Gespage. (Attention this parameter is case sensitive)
popup windows installation:
To install the popup on Windows, simply launch the popup executable and follow the instructions
Address: IP address of the Server where the Gespage service is installed.
